Welcome, all Friends of the Alamo. The Alamo is a state property; therefore, it belongs to you! We are counting on all of you who love the Alamo and the principles for which it stands to help us create an endowment to preserve and restore it forever. Your ownership of this endowment doesn’t depend upon membership in an historic group. It wasn’t an elite group who fought and died there. The heroes of the Alamo were regular people just like us. Your reward is seeing the Alamo restored for posterity and kept in pristine condition forever.

The Friends of the Alamo is organized to support the preservation, restoration, and renovation of the historic buildings on the Alamo Complex in San Antonio, TX. Below are some of the current conditions and recommendations for repair and preservation for these historic buildings.
